Micro Examples of Expectations

As a SAHM to a little boy, and the wife of a self sufficient man, we’re both teaching him that housework and childcare are things that everyone does. My hubby learned to cook, clean, and sew from his mom. My son will learn the same. Those of us raising boys now have the duty to raise them better. They need to know to respect women, to do equal work, and to want equality for all. That’s my hope raising my son, anyways.

personally I do want to be a SAHM at some point. but up until then I'll be working. my husband and I share chores. I tend to like cooking so I do it most of the time. it doesn't mean he can't follow a recipe though! he is very content to let me do whatever roles I choose, and it's such a blessing. I think it's difficult for some men to get over that not every woman wants kids, or vice versa. regardless, everyone should know how to follow recipes and be able to keep their house clean! you should be able to choose your own destiny. and if that means child free and single at 40, shoot, why not start the day with a mimosa? 😂
